Cristina Delius


was born in Lisbon/Portugal and received her education in dance and music (cello) in Lisbon, Paris and New York. She was fortunate to study and perform with dancers like Brenda Bufalino, Josh Hilberman and Barbara Duffy. Cristina worked with Heather Cornells Company Manhattan Tap in New York and is a member of Brenda Bufalinos ITDO (International Tap Dance Orchestra).  She is the founder, director and choreographer of the Company Chili con Tap. She is also a member of Voyages du Geste, an international performing artists group (music, dance, theater, poetry, and percussion a.o.) based in France. Cristina is the founder of the Trio Tripeco (Triangular Percussion Project) with the Brasilian guitarist Silvia Ocougne and the German bass player Johannes Gunkel.

In 1996 Cristina founded TapaToe, das Steptanzstudio with her partner Anina Krüger. TapaToe has become the address for tap dance in Europe.

Today, performances and teaching work regularly take her across Europe and the USA.

Anina Krüger


was born in Berlin/Germany and studied tap dance in Berlin, Paris and in New York with Barbara Duffy, Josh Hilberman and Brenda Bufalino with whom she also had the opportunity to perform. She is currently a member of Funked-Up, The Power of Tap from Thomas Marek, she is a soloist and choreographer from Chili con Tap and a
member of Brenda Bufalino’s ITDO (International Tap Dance Orchester).


In 1996 Anina founded TapaToe, das Steptanzstudio with her partner Cristina Delius.

Other faculty members

Julia Liro is born in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. She took tap classses with Axel Lauer, Vicky Born and Tom Fletcher in Berlin and sucessfully continued her tap-training at TapaToe with Cristina Delius and Anina Krüger. She participated in workshops with Leela Petronio in Paris and Josh Hilberman, Brenda Bufalino, Victor Cuno and Thomas Marek. Julia teaches the beginner classes at TapaToe.

Henriette Rieffel is born in Berlin. She started to take tap classes at the Ballettschule am Brixplatz with Morris Perry. In 1999 she continued her training at TapaToe and developped her knowledge in workshops with Josh Hilberman, Brenda Bufalino, Michael Sandwick and Tobias Tack. Henriette is educated musicien and teaches eraly education in music and recorder in Berlin and Brandenburg. Henriette teaches the children, teenager and senior classes and TapaToe.
